Connecting with your Child: Finding Your Dad Groove Workshop by Blair Armstrong

  • The Speech Path 444 Albert Street East Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 2J8 Canada (map)

Dads play a critical and unique role in their kids’ development. Blair loves to help Dads understand how to "find their dad groove” - to make a connection, figure out the roles a dad can take to support his child’s development, and build one of life’s most important relationships.

Blair is a dad of 5 children and a veteran Relationship Development Intervention™ Consultant based in Vancouver, BC. He is originally from Sault Ste. Marie and loves the Soo and the people here. He has worked with hundreds of dads of children of all ages and is passionate about helping them to find their groove connecting with their children with ASD and other differences. Whether you love hunting or fishing, camping, boating, dirt biking/quads/jet skis, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, hockey, fixing/building, tinkering around the house, cooking on the BBQ, watching your favourite sport or just chillin’ around the campfire at home or at camp, there is a connecting role for you and for your child within everything you love to do. Blair is going to masterfully walk you through the magic of learning to guide your child in fun meaningful activities that your child enjoys, you enjoy and even some that your child initially does not feel motivated or competent with and puts up some road blocks to the guiding relationship.

Cost: $30.00 ($20.00 for those already registered for The Guided Participation Relationship workshop on August 14)
